Just after midnight on Monday an inmate became unresponsive and dead at the NH state prison.
The inmate’s death was deemed untimely but not suspicious, is being investigated by the state.
According to a press release from the New Hampshire Department of Corrections - They called an ambulance and began life-saving measures, including CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator, or AED. Efforts to revive the man were stopped after a do-not-resuscitate order was found in his records.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
