NH fish and game officials are warning residents to be aware that warmer temperatures don’t just mean summer is around the corner.
The warmer temperatures are also a sign that New Hampshire’s bears to come out from hibernation and seek out their first meal of the season.
Wildlife officials say you should take down bird feeders and avoid leaving unprotected trash bags outside your home and it’s also not a good idea to leave pets outside at night during bear season.
